Now that your application has been submitted, now the lender will look over all the information you have provided in order to determine whether or not they will approve your finance application. Typically, they will look at your capacity to pay back the loan, the value of the car, how much asset backing you have, and, if you have had previous finance and how well you conducted that loan. The lender will match these factors against their internal guidelines.

Whilst each financier has different approval time frames, most good finance companies and brokers can provide a response certainly within a couple of hours, and sometimes even on the spot. At this stage, having an experienced finance broker working for you can be invaluable because they know how to best present your application to the lender. An experienced broker also knows which lender is most appropriate for each customer, as different lenders have different guidelines and some are more conservative than others. Larger finance brokers have a “direct line” to the decision makers at finance companies, so they can explain your personal situation much more effectively than a simple application form.

As an insurance underwriter you can play a part in the lives of others everyday and considered one of the best positions in the insurance industry. This job entails the reviewing of risk of the business or person who is purchasing the insurance as well as the item that is to be insured. This person will scan policies and coverages as a way to find if the customer has the correct insurance coverage.
This job would be a good fit for those who are detail-oriented and those who like to piece together all the little bits of the day to day needs of being an underwriter. Much a your day can be spent looking over policy coverages and explaining the effects of changes made to a policy.
A few requirements are need though, for instance, a college graduate who was schooled in quantitative studies. Dealing comfortably with the public is another plus since giving bad news is part of this job. For customer service reps, the underwriter is the person to see because they are the ones who have all the answers.

It is a lucrative position to be an insurance agent. This person will help people protect their belongings, their personal business as well as their home. The earning possibilities are endless but how do you know if it is the right job for you?
Although the job description is the same as it has been for years, the career its self has changed some. To be an agent you must like working with the public or else you will not be successful. You will have to deal with less than happy people during stressful situations while showing a positive attitude. Skills in negotiation are very important as is motivation and the understanding of insurance, all while giving advice on coverages.
There are those who take this job as a way to get benefits and free training because it offers security. You can see how it is a very attractive career path. Although a college degree is not mandatory, it can’t hurt. Besides learning about insurance, you will become licensed for the state in which you work and must continue to educate yourself on what is required for the job. Beginning pay is generally $25,000 to $40,000 and salaries will be based on what type of insurance you are selling.

Don’t mistake this job as a stepping stone toward another career. This is a full-time position with clerical work and is a valued job career. If you see yourself as a team player than this customer service job can be fun, although you will spend much of your day on the phone, there will be team meetings, birthdays and group training to attend. There is also parties for coworkers and showers for the mom’s or brides to be.
Tight bonds develop between the call center workers and other team members and are just about impossible to break. A customer service rep is a special type of person who works with stress and can be a decision maker. You will need to tell the difference between the typical call about a late payment and one that requires all your attention as this is the basis of this type of work.
Excellent verbal and written skills are a must as well as problem solving and being a good listener.
You will also run a phone with multiple lines and need the basic computer skills. Researching problems is another part of this job so solving problems is another piece of the puzzle. Anyone working with customer card must be flexible also.
